ROANOKE, Va. -

The Patrick Henry Patriots hadn't had a home game before this week.  The matchup with Colonial Forge marked the first of five straight home games for the Patriots.

But they would have to come back from a 14-0 deficit at halftime to the Eagles.

PH was trying to get something going but Trevor Mike had the carry and it was stripped, Colonial Forge recovered.

The Eagles tried to capitalize but on 4th and long they ran an option ,it was fumbled and Patrick Henry took over on downs. But it would amount to nothing. Quishon Calfee dropped back and was hit jarring the ball loose, another Patriot fumble recovered by Colonial Forge.

They would make them pay-- Damon Daniel hit Joel Miller over the middle for a first down. They got to 3rd and goal-- where they tried and ran it with Daniel's QB sneak but he fumbled, the Eagles recovered.

Then on fourth down-- Daniel found Austin Hall in the endzone for a touchdown as Colonial Forge shut out Patrick Henry in their home opener with a 21-0 final score.
