CAMPBELL CO., Va. -

Brookville returned home this week following a three game road trip to face a Jefferson Forest team that the Bees had beaten 6 times in a row.

J-F had the ball first and marched down the field. Ryan Crist connected with Jesse Stevens for a 25 yard pickup to get things moving for the Cavs.

Several plays later, the Brookville defense rose up and kept J-F out of the end zone holding them to a field goal.  Kevin Bowmen put it through the uprights to give J-F an early 3 to nothing lead.

Neal Reynolds had an answer for the Bees though. He found his main man Ben Hoggn in the endzone for a 29 yard Brookville touchdown making it 7 to 3 at the end of the 1st quarter.

The Bees added another score thanks to the big play. Jason Carwile broke through the line, cut down the sideline outrunning the Cavs defense on a huge 64 yard touchdown showing of some fleet feet. Brookville was up 14 to 3 at that point but Jefferson Forest  pulled ahead and finished 28 to 21 over the Bees.
