Bedford County bragging rights were on the line this week as Liberty made the short trip to Jefferson Forest where the Cavaliers season was hanging in the balance.  JF was 17th in the playoff standings, one spot out of a postseason berth.

It was senior night at Sabre Stadium, with players and band members getting recognition on the field.

In the opening seconds of play, J-F's Kamden Beecraft launched the ball to Malik Stewart, putting the Cavaliers inside the 20.

Two plays later, David Aveson took the ball on a 10 yard run to the goal line. J-F goes up 7 to nothing.

On the next drive, Liberty's Devin Carper took the handoff and jetted past the Forest defense, rushing for more than 70 yards to tie the game up at 7 a piece.

The Minutemen go on to win 41 to 27.
