CROZET, Va. -

Magna Vista won a heart stopping shootout last week against Liberty to open the playoffs.  Sophomore quarterback Shoalin McGuire accounted for more than 400 yards and 6 touchdowns in the win, and Joe Favero's team faced the prospects of a similar high scoring affair this week on the road in Crozet, against Western Albemarle.

On the second play from scrimmage the Warriors defense made a play as Jalen Hairston intercepted the pass and that led to a Magna Vista touchdown.  One of two picks tonight for Hairston.

Kent Henry got his Warriors on the board a little later.  He went to Tre Banks on the 7 yard touchdown to get Western Albemarle on the board.

In the third quarter, Jacquez Hairston got involved for Magna Vista.  He scooted 35 yards to paydirt and it was 28 to 7 Magna Vista.

Joe Favero's team tacked on two more scores and won going away 42 to 14.
