In 3A it was a battle of the Vikings as Northside visited Loudoun Valley in Northern Virginia.

Northside was up 9-0 in the second quarter when Sam Krizner took a quick pitch and rambled around the left side 50 yards for the touchdown. But a penalty negated the touchdown.

Two plays later Dunnaville hit Nathan Arnold at the 19-yard line but he fumbled, and Marcus Oden jumped on it for Loudoun Valley.

Just two plays later Loudoun Valley quarterback Sully Warner fumbled, and Northside recovered.

A few possessions later Krizner will ran it deep in Loudoun Valley territory for 18 yards, setting up a first-and-goal.

On the next play Dunnaville hit Buckner on the left side for a Northside touchdown, making it 15-7 Northside midway through the second quarter.

On the next drive Dunnaville hit Tra Jackson for a touchdown with 41 seconds left in the half. Northside was well in control at 22-7, and went on to win 29-14.
