ROANOKE CO., Va. -

For the second straight week, Northside was on the rug at Bogle Stadium. The Vikings whipped Cave Spring last week. On Friday night Burt Torrence's team went after the clean sweep of Southwest Roanoke County tenants.

The Titans were primed for the challenge but also the huge opportunity in front of them.

Early on, they took control. Mason Dermott put his head down and went right up the gut on the touchdown. Hidden Valley was off to a great start, up 10-0.

It was 10-7 before Dermott did his thing again. This time he scored to start the second half and again it was a 10-point lead at 17-7.

Dom Dunnaville then put the Vikings on his back. He dropped back, pumped and then found Austin Fisher on the long ball. The Vikes were back in it, down just 3, 17-14 late in the third.

Dunnaville then found his favorite target Harold Buckner in the endzone. Buckner makes the nice grab in traffic and the Vikings rally to stay undefeated. They take out Hidden Valley 27-17.
