ROCKBRIDGE CO., Va. -

Northside has been a bit under the radar since losing to Botetourt three weeks ago.  This week the Vikings looked to sew up a high seed in 3A West by winning at Rockbridge County.

The Wildcats were trying to end their disappointing season on a winning note--but Northside was hoping to go 9-1.

Dom Dunniville pitched to Tra' Jackson who went down the field and got inside the Wildcat ten yard line. That set up Dunniville who punched it in from one yard out made it 7-0 Northside.\

The Vikings then played some defense, Cameron Wood was sacked by several players to force the Wildcats to punt.

Northside made them pay on the ensuing drive-- Dunniville rolled out and did some shaking of defenders finding the open field and was taken down after a 15 yard gain.

That would set up a 39 yard field goal attempt which was good that made it 10-0 Northside as they went on to win it 48-7
