ROCKY MOUNT, Va. -

Pulaski County has dominated its series with Franklin County, winning 27 times in 33 meetings. Add to that, this year's Franklin County club had struggled to a 1-5 mark entering Friday, and the Cougars had to like their chances at Cy Dillon Stadium in Rocky Mount.

The Eagles though, trying to change the tone of their season by defending their home field.

Franklin County up two in the second half and driving -- Carlton Adams with the carry and gets it down to the one yard line.

Then the Eagles call his number again a few plays later and Adams knows where to go with it on the touchdown as Franklin County goes up 27-19.

Following a Pulaski County drive -- the Eagles pinned deep in their own territory but Alex Clark goes 67 yards down the field for the long run.

Franklin County continues to pound the ball -- this time Shaun Rinn gets the carry and barrels down to the one yard line. They'd punch it in on the next play to take a 34-19 lead in the fourth quarter.

Pulaski trying to get some offense going. Marcus Johnston finds Tyler Ervine who picked up the first down, but the Cougars mustered enough offense as all the Franklin County fans watching their team win at Cy Dillon Stadium and a win 34-19 over Pulaski.
