In Dublin, Staunton River faced a tall task in Pulaski County, a team still trying to find its stride three games in.

Pulaski signal caller Marcus Johnston was hoping to get the Cougar offense in gear.

In the second half with the score tied at 10 all. After a penalty backed them up deep in their own territory, the Cougars' Dillon Alley was off to the races on an 87-yard TD run. That put Pulaski up by a toucdown early in the third quarter.

Staunton River went three-and-out. And Pulaski reeled off a 13-play, 94-yard drive that was capped off with Johnston punching it in from two yards out. Pulaski on top 24-10.

In the fourth quarter Alley with another big play. He danced 58-yards to give Pulaski a 31-10 lead.

The Cougars knocked out Staunton River 34 to 10.
