LYNCHBURG, Va. -

Buddy Brown's Tunstall Trojans made a run to the state semifinals last season.  This week, they faced a tall task in trying to slow down the Heritage Pioneers who began their quest to make it back to a state title game.

Tunstall came out swinging against the heavyweights from Heritage.

The first time the Trojans touch the ball, Peyton Farrior fielded the kickoff. And he was off to the races. Farrior took it 90 yards to put the Trojans up 7-zip. Trojans followed up with a field goal on their next possesion, making it 10 to nothing.

Heritage finally got going thanks to Frankie Hickson. He took the handoff and went 38 yards for paydirt. Pioneers even things at 7.

Heritage then got it done on the other side of the ball. Tunstall's Chris Buckner dropped back to pass, but he was picked off by Heritage's number eight Elijah Gallagher.

Gallagher brought it back the distance for the 80-yard pick-six. Heritage survived the early scare with the 34-16 win..
