Virginia Tech held a 6 point second half lead against Clemson Wednesday night, but faltered down the stretch, losing for the third straight time in ACC play 56 to 49.  Ben Emelogu's three pointer late tied the game at 49, but the Tigers scored the last 7 points of the game.  The Hokies shot just 4 of 14 from the free throw line.  Emelogu scored 11 points and Devin Wilson led the way for Tech with a career high 14 points.

     In Radford, Javonte Green scored 20 points for the Highlanders against VMI, but the Keydets surged down the stretch in beating RU 101 to 88.  VMI was led by Rodney Glasgow who poured in a team high 36 points in the Big South win.
