AUSTIN, TEXAS — The AT&T Winter National Championships for swimming begins today here.
Among those who will be foaming up the lanes are gold medal Olympians Ryan Lochte, Missy Franklin, Katie Ledecky, and El Centro native Brandon Crabtree.
Crabtree, a junior at Southwest High, set two CIF-San Diego Section Division II records last year in the 50- and 100-meter freestyle races, which elevated him to All-American status. He was also instrumental in helping the Eagles win their second consecutive Imperial Valley League title.
Crabtree could not be reached for comment.
