The Virginia Cavaliers beat TCU 3-2 in the 15th inning on Tuesday night.

This was their second game of their run in the College World Series.

Waddell was strong after the second inning... He pitched seven innings allowing just one earned run on six hits while striking out five.

Nick Howard came in to relieve him in the eighth... bottom half of the 8th, runner on second, Derek Fisher with the grounder, but he's safe at first the throw home to gun down Kenny Towns eventually gets loose but he's still tagged out preventing a run from scoring.

This one went deep into extra innings but eventually went final UVa will play again Friday from Td Ameritrade ballpark.

They'll play Friday instead of Thursday, because the Cavs are still in the winners bracket.
