CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -

The Virginia Cavaliers finished last season on a nine-game losing streak, and they will have to start 2014 against one of the best teams in the country in UCLA.

As the Wahoos enter Mike London's fifth season, pressure is rising for a program that has turned in just one winning campaign in that time.

“When you're in training camp you're going against the same guys every single day,” said Conner Davis. “We’re ready for UCLA. That's what we train for and we're not thinking about anything else right now,” he said.

The team is ready to hit the ground running and make a statement against the country's seventh ranked team.

“We get to see where we’re at, at an early stage. If you can open up with an FCS or something like that then you're getting your feet wet. This week we're diving in right from the get go,” said Grayson Lambert.
