CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -

The University of Virginia will serve as a regional host for the NCAA baseball tournament for the 5th straight year and 8th time overall this weekend.

The Cavaliers open the tournament Friday at 2 against Bucknell at Davenport Field. 

Liberty is also headed to the Charlottesville regional.  The Flames who won the Big South regular season title, were ranked most of the last month. 

Liberty plays Arkansas at 7 p.m. Friday night.

Here is the complete schedule for the Charlottesville regional:

Friday – Virginia vs. Bucknell, 2 p.m.; Arkansas vs. Liberty, 7 p.m.

Saturday – Game 3, 2 p.m.; Game 4, 8 p.m.

Sunday – Game 5, 1 p.m.; Game 6, 8 p.m.

Monday – Game 7 (if necessary), 7 p.m.
