BLACKSBURG, Va. -

Virginia Tech cornerback Brandon Facyson will miss the remainder of spring practice.

The Hokies announced Friday that Facyson has a left tibia stress reaction. He will be put in a boot as a precaution.

Facyson is expected to be healed in time for summer workouts.

As a freshman last season, Facyson was selected third-team All-ACC. He was also named freshman All-American.

The Newnan, Georgia, native had five interceptions, eight pass break ups, and 27 tackles in 2013.
