The Flames turned early-season struggles into a sensational finish to their year. They only have two seniors on the roster, so will try to keep this momentum going into next season.
"This will lay the groundwork for a lot of things that will happen for our team,” Flames head coach Dale Layer said. “I think it's a shot in the arm for all of us. It's a well-earned reward to be here for these guys. They overcame so much. So many things that grown people can't overcome, their character won't allow them."
