Virginia's baseball team will need some help if the Cavaliers hope to repeat as ACC champs, as 8-seed Georgia Tech continues to roll through this year's tournament.

Georgia Tech plated 17 runs, as the YellowJackets rolled past Virginia 17-5, in a game that was stopped after the seventh inning because of the tournament's 10-run rule.

The Wahoos conclude pool play Saturday in Greensboro when they take on Florida State at 3 p.m.

Zane Evans drove in six runs for Georgia Tech, while Colin Harrington paced Virginia with three hits.

The 17 runs scored are the most Virginia has allowed this season.

The YellowJackets sent 10 batters to the plate in the six-run third inning.
