The Hokies are on their way to Raleigh for Wednesday night's meeting with NC State at the RBC Center, a building that just finished hosting the NHL's all-star weekend.
The Hokies hope to warm up the place by picking up their second ACC road win of the season.
Despite all the adversity surrounding his team, Seth Greenberg says he's proud of his guys for hanging tough and sticking together.
"They learned they can win a game. They learned they can win, that this lineup can win games. How many, I don't know. They learned that they can play off of each other, which I think is important because that's the trust and sharing the basketball. I've learned that we've got to be a changing defensive team. If everyone gets on the same page, we can win games," said Greenberg.
