Hokies Take Care of VMI to Improve to 3 and 0

     All five Virginia Tech starters scored in double figures Thursday night led by Erick Green with 23, as Virginia Tech knocked off VMI 95 to 80 at Cassell Coliseum.  The Hokies improve to 3 and 0 on the season.  VMI was led by D.J. Covington's 23 points, but the Hokies shot 11 of 24 from behind the three point line and that was the difference.
