Jasmin Harrell pitched 7 strong innings, allowing just four hits for the Hokies who beat UAB 4 to 1 in the NCAA opener. Courtney Liddle, Kelsey Mericka, and Lauren Gaskill each drove in a run for Tech. The Hokies will play again in the winner's bracket Saturday at 1:30 against the Tennessee/Miami (OH) winner.
