Friday was a busy day of practice at the Martinsville Speedway for the Truck Series and the Cup drivers.
Saturday's Kroger 250 truck race will feature plenty of storylines, including the Truck Series debut of Jeb Burton, the son of 2002 Daytona 500 champ Ward Burton.
At 19 years old, Jeb Burton could be doing lots of things in life, but racing is in his blood.
"I just figured when dad got out of the car, it was my time to get in it," the younger Burton said. "It just came natural to me."
Jeb raced at Martinsville in the Late Model Stock series, and he posted the 7th fastest practice time in the Friday morning practice session, which bodes well for a solid weekend.
