As Liberty University attempts its program move to college football's highest division, the Flames announced Monday that they have picked up more Football Bowl Subdivision opponents on their future schedule.

As WDBJ7 reported last week, Liberty will make a trip to Blacksburg in 2016 to take on Virginia Tech.

In 2015, Liberty University will travel to Morgantown, WV, and play at West Virginia.

Next season, Liberty University will play Kent State. Liberty also played Kent State in 2004 when it lost 38-10.

“We are thrilled to be playing these talented FBS opponents,” Flames head coach Turner Gill wrote in a news release. “It is great national exposure for our football program.”

Liberty played the Mountaineers in 2009, with West Virginia topping the Flames 33-20.

Liberty University opens up this season against Wake Forest.
