Liberty University defeated VMI 33-14 in the Big South regular season finale. The Flames jumped-out to a 13-7 lead at the half and then found the endzone 3 more times in the second half. Liberty quarterback, Josh Woodrum finished 19-29 for 172 yards and a touchdown. Aldreakis Allen led the way for the Flames on the ground with 99 rushing yards on 15 carries and 2 touchdowns.
VMI quarterback, Eric Kordenbrock was 22 of 34 for 220 yards and 2 touchdown passes.
The Flames out-rushed the Keydets 179-26, on their way to a share of the Big South title. Liberty is now (6-5, 5-1) and VMI falls to (2-9, 1-5).
