Liberty University defensive lineman Paco Varol has been kicked off the football team for a violation of team policy.
Varol started five games last season. He recorded 27 tackles last season, including two sacks against ACC opponent N.C. State. He played in 15 games during his two-season career.
Varol is from Hamburg, Germany.
The Flames start training camp on Aug. 2. They kick off the season with another ACC opponent, Wake Forest, on Sept. 1 in Winston-Salem.
