Liberty Flames quarterback Josh Woodrum finished 13th in the national voting for the Jerry Rice Award, given annually to the top freshman at the Football Championship Subdivision level.
Woodrum, from Cave Spring, set a Liberty freshman record with 1,963 total yards. He was previously named Big South Freshman of the Year.
The Rice Award went to Villanova quarterback John Robertson.
