The quarterback battle at Liberty University has now entered its third week and Coach Turner Gill is no closer to naming a starter for the opener on September 1st at Wake Forest.
Both Josh Woodrum and Brian Hudson have both done some good things in the preseason, but neither has gained any separation, at least not enough to seize the job just yet.
Coach Gill doesn't seem to mind the uncertainty, and vows not to rush into a decision, which could still be more than a week away.
“I think there's been progress made,” Gill said. “They're both playing very, very well. I think we just want to go one more week here.”
