The curbs around the track at Martinsville Speedway got a fresh coat of paint Thursday morning.
Breast cancer survivors and track crews painted the curbs pink. The effort hopes to bring attention to October's designation as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Volunteers from the Young Survival Coalition took up brushes with track president Clay Campbell and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Cale Gale.
