The 77th Roanoke Valley Match Play Championship teed off at the Hidden Valley Country Club on Friday. In the amateur division, defending champ Lee Fisher won both of his first day matches to advance to the round of 16 on Saturday. Five time Valley major champ Scott Wise also won twice to advance. The tournament continues tomorrow, followed by the semis and finals on Sunday.
