Six James River students sign on to play in college

BUCHANAN, Va.

James River High School had six student-athletes sign their letters of intent in a ceremony Thursday afternoon.

Reanna Hamm has committed to Radford University for Track and Field.

Kayla Hanna will be attending Emory and Henry College to play softball. Her teammate, Casie Hill, will continue her softball career at James Madison University.

Jessica Simmons is another softball player going-on to play in college. She has committed to West Virginia State University.

Taylor Locke is another Knight heading to Emory and Henry. She's going there to join the Wasps’ volleyball team.

And finally, Korey Watts is headed to Radford to play golf.
