This week the PGA Tour pros are sure to hear all about Sam Snead and the Cold War bunker that was built underneath the Greenbrier Resort.  One of them will make history as the inaugural winner of the Greenbrier Classic, while learning some along the way.

The event occupies a prime spot on the Tour schedule, two weeks after the British Open and just before the World Golf Championships and the PGA Championship.

For Vaughn Taylor, the stop in White Sulphur Springs is a chance to get back to his roots.  You see, Taylor was born in Roanoke, just 75 miles from the Greenbrier, but his parents moved to Augusta, Georgia when he was only six months old.

From the first tee shot to the final putt on Sunday, it is sure to be a memorable week in southern West Virginia.
