ORLANDO, Fla.—
Things are about to get serious where the bowl preparation is concerned, but before they set their sights fully on the Scarlet Knights, today the Hokies took time to hang out with some youngsters who could use a piece of good news in their lives. It was all part of their visit to the Give the Kids the World Village, a 70 acre storybook resort where children with life threatening illnesses are treated to a week long vacation which includes all of the attractions and theme parks that Central Florida has to offer.
The Hokies played games and took part in a dance off, strutting their stuff to the Macarena and Gangnam style. After that it was off to a second straight day of practice at Citrus Bowl Stadium. Thursday, they'll have one final walk through before teeing it up on Friday night.
"We went to Universal Studios, rode a couple of rides and headed back last night. We've had a lot of fun thus far," said quarterback Logan Thomas.
