Aerial Wilson scored 22 points for Virginia Tech but it wasn't enough as Boston College won for the first time in 12 ACC games this season 64 to 60 over the Hokies.
And in high school action, the Franklin County ladies beat William Fleming 69 to 65 to claim the Western Valley District Tournament Championship, while Lord Botetourt's boys got past Staunton River 64 to 60 in the opening round of the Blue Ridge District Tournament.
