BRISTOL, TN—
Vinton native Michael McGuire won the pole Thursday for Saturday’s NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
McGuire won with an average speed of 120.694 miles per hour.
This will be McGuire’s fourth start on the series. He drives the No. 7 car for Wood Towing & Transportation/BTS Toyota.
McGuire will start alongside Dylan Presnell.
The DRIVE4COPD 125 is scheduled to start at 4:45 p.m. Saturday at Bristol Motor Speedway.
