Virginia third-string quarterback impressing early
The Virginia Cavaliers are now in their second week of spring practice in Charlottesville where strong armed quarterback Greyson Lambert has already made an impression.

Lambert is third string for now, behind Mike Rocco and David Watford, but he clearly has all the tools to be successful.  The Georgia native is a pro style quarterback at 6 feet, 5 inches tall, and he enrolled in school early after picking the Cavaliers over Alabama, Georgia, and Georgia Tech.

Lambert was the number one quarterback prospect in Georgia last year.

"It's always hard the first time you go through something so it gives him one extra rep going through," said Virginia offensive coordinator Bill Lazor. "He's learning every single day.  He's doing better.  When he certainly gets individual things where he doesn't have to think as much, he really shows what his ability level is.  He's coming and he'll catch up fast."

Virginia head coach Mike London said: "Grayson has got a lively arm.  It's been impressive to watch him throw, so he's only gonna get better."
