LEXINGTON, Va.—
The Washington and Lee Generals are back in the Division III football playoffs for the second time in three years.
The road to Salem and the 2012 Stagg Bowl starts this weekend for Coach Scott Abell and his team with a first round date at 10-0 Hobart.
Abell is excited about the opportunity his team has in front of it in his first season as head coach.
“It's been great and a lot of credit goes to the kids and to our staff,” Abell said. “They really make my job easy. We have great young men that we work with. They work hard on and off the field. They really dedicated themselves to this year and we're very fortunate. We came out on top of the ODAC which is a strong conference, and we're excited about moving forward.”
