Danville Pediatrics sponsors 2013 blockbuster exhibit at CAC
For the third year in a row, Danville Pediatrics and Primary Care will be the title sponsor of the Community Arts Center’s annual blockbuster exhibit, coming to Danville in February and March 2013.
The theme of the exhibit is “Wild West!”
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Danville Pediatrics on board again,” says Community Arts Center Executive Director Mary Beth Touchstone. “They have been wonderful sponsors in the past, and we look forward to partnering with them to bring the wild west to life for children and families across the Bluegrass.”
Danville Pediatrics presents Wild West! officially opens Feb. 6 and runs through March 30.
Ephraim McDowell Health associate Lynn earns certification
Lynne Warner Lynn, MSN, RN, CNS, NE-BC, director of nursing administration, regulatory compliance and associate education at Ephraim McDowell Health, recently passed her Nurse Executive Certification exam and has been credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
The ANCC is a subsidiary of the American Nurses Association and is the largest and most distinguished organization offering nursing credentials. In order to sit for the NE exam, the applicant must hold an active registered nursing license and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or higher. The applicant must also hold an administrative-level job in a facility or be a faculty member in a graduate program for nursing administration. Continuing education credits must also be met within the few years prior to completing the exam for certification. In order to maintain certification, professional development requirements and continuing education must be met.
Lynn lives in Harrodsburg with her husband, Logan, and their sons, David and Logan. She has been employed at Ephraim McDowell Health since 1982.
Lanham completes examination in investment adviser law
Tim McDaniel, CFP, CPA of McDaniel Wealth Management, announces that Cindy Lanham, associate wealth advisor, has completed successfully the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, Series 65. She also recently has completed the exam requirements as a Resident Agent for Life, Variable Life & Variable Annuity and Health Insurance.
Lanham is a registered representative with H.D. Vest Investment Services and joined McDaniel Wealth Management in January 2009. Lanham is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and Lindsey Wilson College.
