Mercer Indicts (December 22, 2012) |
HARRODSBURG — Two men have been indicted by a Mercer County grand jury for allegedly breaking into a warehouse at Corning Inc. and stealing copper wire on three seperate occassions.
Dameon Devine, 23, of 315 James St., Harrodsburg, and Edward Robertson, 23, of 504 E. Main St, Danville, were each indicted on three counts of burglary and three counts of theft more than $500, for allegedly unlawfully entering the Corning property and stealing large amounts of copper. The alleged thefts occurred between Nov. 7 and Nov. 25.
Bonds were set at $10,000. Harrodsburg officer Chad Powell testified before the grand jury.
Others indicted last week were:
n Jordan S. Floyd, 22, of 274 Huffman Road, two counts of first-degree rape for allegedly engaging in sexual intercourse with a girl less than 12 years of age between March 2 and May 2. Bond was set at $50,000. Trooper Rodney Wren testified before the grand jury.
n Charles E. Hendrickson, 37, and June L. Hendrickson, 33, both of Lancaster, third-degree rape and third-degree sodomy for allegedly acting in complicity with each other to engage in sexual intercourse and deviate sexual intercourse with a girl less than 16 years old in Mercer County on Jan. 1. Bonds were set at $10,000. Wren testified.
n Jeffrey W. Price, 38, of 2249 Louisville Road, two counts of forgery for allegedly having two forged checks drawn on Farmers National Bank on July 18 and July 20. Bond was set at $5,000. Deputy Scott Elder testified.
n Tony R. Sparks, 34, 1780 Bellows Mill Road, alleged manufacturing and possession of methaphetamine on Sept. 1. Bond was set at $25,000. Harrodsburg officer Brett Thomas testified.
n Cecil Buford, 40, 431 Arrowhead Drive, two counts of allegedly trafficking in a controlled substance on Sept. 3 and Sept. 12. Bond was set at $20,000. Thomas testified.
n Brian T. Hall, 18, and James T. Hopper, 19, both of 285 Boone St., receiving stolen property more than $500 for allegedly having a John Deere Gator stolen from Beaumont Inn in their possession on Nov. 28. Bonds were set at $5,000. Deputy Paul Parks testified.
n Christopher L. Harlan, 22, of Danville, first-degree robbery for allegedly threatening Manuel Story with a gun during the course of a theft on Oct. 17. Bond was set at $20,000. Deputy Sean Brown testified.
n Jeremy Coy, 33, of 557 Cane Run Road, theft more than $500 for allegedly taking a trailer belonging to Curtis Robinson on¿Oct. 17. Bond was set at $5,000. Thomas testified.
n Khalil Yates, 37, of 482 N. Greenhill St., flagrant nonsupport for allegedly falling more than $5,000 behind in child support. Bond was set at $5,000. Jennifer Bradshaw testified.
n Harold Herring, 36, of Crab Orchard, flagrant nonsupport for allegedly falling more than $5,000 behind in child support. Bond was set at $5,000. Chestina Quinn testified.
n William Joseph Devito, 40, of Canton, Ohio, flagrant nonsupport for allegedly falling more than $5,000 behind in child support. Bond was set at $5,000. Dianna McPherson testified.
n John Shepard, 43, of Versailles, flagrant nonsupport for allegedly falling more than $5,000 behind in child support. Bond was set at $5,000. Tanya Hensley testified.
n James. T. Hurst II, 42, of 330 Adams Lane, flagrant nonsupport for allegedly falling more than $5,000 behind in child support. Bond was set at $5,000. Jessica Hurst testified.
n Joseph Nutgrass, 39, of Louisville, flagrant nonsupport for allegedly falling more than $5,000 behind in child support. Bond was set at $5,000. Tobie Reeser testified.
