HARRODSBURG — Robert L. Thompson, 61, of Harrodsburg, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012.
Born Aug. 2, 1951, in Danville, he was the son of the late Emmett W. and Edna May Young Thompson. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam war, a retired Kentucky Utilities employee and a member of Pioneer Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Ruth Allen Thompson of Harrodsburg; a brother, Nelson “Walkie” Thompson of Harrodsburg; and a niece, Emma Thompson.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday, at Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Ransdell Funeral Home Chapel.
