Comprised of John McCauley (guitar/vocals), Ian O&rsquo;Neil (guitar/vocals), Chris Ryan (bass, vocals), Rob Crowell (keys/saxophone/vocals) and Dennis Ryan (drums/vocals), Deer Tick wants nothing more than to break free of musical boundaries. Though described by many as a folk and country group, the band&rsquo;s latest release, <em>Divine Providence</em> (2011), proves otherwise by delivering an in-your-face rock record with distorted guitars and harsh vocals that is comparable to grunge. In fact, Deer Tick is also known to perform as their alter-ego Deervana, a Nirvana tribute group.&nbsp; So, come and see these guys perform some raw, loud and heartfelt music and find out if you are able to handle the after effects of a tick bite.</span>

After selling more than 4 million copies of their first album which reached #7 on Billboard's album charts, they were pissed off that their record company was forcing them to release their second album when the band knew it wasn't quite ready yet, to get more product into the market place and increase sales.
