  1. Concert review: One Direction at Amway Center

Soundboard Music Blog - Orlando Sentinel
When a boy-band comes to Orlando, it’s like an Elvis impersonator booking a gig at Graceland. This town knows the real thing. Happily, the cheeky lads in One Direction, whose new version of the British Invasion touched down for 90 minutes on...

  5. The Dark Knight Rises with Call Me Maybe Parody videos

For the longest time I had never heard the song "<a href="http://youtu.be/fWNaR-rxAic" target="_blank">Call Me Maybe</a>", and I considered myself lucky for it. Then my streak of weeks living in blissful ignorance of the bubble-gum pop song that refuses to leave your head was broken when I heard it on the radio while stuck in traffic one day. Catchy tune, I'll admit, but easily forgettable as long as you have some QUEEN or STONE TEMPLE PILOTS on hand to clear your head.

  21. Reel Critics: 'Rock of Ages' full of energy and fun

The pop music of the 1980s was full of Rock 'n' Roll anthems void of any deep meaning or political activism. Bands like Journey, Foreigner, Bon Jovi and the Scorpions filled arenas with loud but melodic hit songs. Most were about partying too hard, but the bands' softer love songs expanded their fan base.
