Two people were shot Monday, one of them fatally, according to Baltimore Police.
A 37-year-old man was the latest victim; he was sitting in a stopped vehicle on the 6400 block of E. Pratt St. around 8:30 p.m. when a minivan pulled up and he was shot several times in the torso, said police spokesman Anthony Smith. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
And earlier in the day, a 29-year-old man was shot in the leg in Pigtown, on the 1400 block of Washington Blvd., a half-block from the Barrister Charles Carroll Elementary School. Police said officers responding to calls for gunshots found the victim near Bayard Street, and that paramedics treated him at the scene. The victim declined hospital treatment; police said they know of no motive or suspect in the case.
On Monday, police also identified the victim of a shooting Friday afternoon in the 2300 block of Chase Street as Gregory Parker, whose last known address was in the 5600 block of Biddison Ave.
