WICHITA, Kan.—
Andover Central completed an undefeated regular season, but lost in the final round of Sub-State to Bishop Carroll. Despite the upset, the Jaguars garnered two first-team selections and five total selections to the AVCTL Division II All-League teams.Jorden Kaufman and Cole Kretchmar made the first-team for Andover Central. The McPherson duo of Cody Cape and Jordan Hart also scored spots on the first-team.
Eisenhower's Zach Bush was honored as the Player of the Year. Andover senior Robert Peare rounded out the first-team.
On the girls' side, Class 4A Champion McPherson dominated the team with three First-Team All-League selections. Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year Katelyn Loecker was also named Player of the Year for the league. She was joined on the First-Team by senior teammates Tanner Hein and Ashton Bruner.
Andover Central earned two first-team selections with Cami Gee and Skylar Snodgrass of Andover Central. Audrey Meisch of Andover rounded out the first-team selections.
McPherson's head coach Chris Strathman was selected as Coach of the Year.
