Conner Frankamp continued his torrid run with 48 points against Bishop Carroll on Tuesday. Frankamp outscored Carroll by himself as the Redskins won 61-42.

Kendrick Miller led Wichita Northwest to a 60-54 win over Kapaun. Miller poured in 18 points to lead the Grizzlies and all scorers.

Southeast scored an upset over East in a 63-59 win despite Jalen Love going off for 27 points. Reggie Smith led the Golden Buffaloes in the win with 16 points.

Heights shellacked West 78-51 for its 58th win in a row. The Falcons are now one game away from tying the state’s all-time record for consecutive wins. Perry Ellis went for 32 points in the win.

Derby downed Newton 69-54. The Salina schools swept their opponents at home by matching three-point margins. South nipped Hutchinson 43-40, while Central got by Maize 41-38.

Goddard Eisenhower rolled Andover 73-41 behind 26 points from Zach Bush. Andover Central continues to roll after easily handling Ark City 41-27.

McPherson had nine players score in a 57-39 win over Goddard. Cody Cape led the Bullpups with 13 points. Jordan Hart and Chase Miller did their part in the win with 10 points each. Alex Shoemaker led Goddard with 13 points in the loss.

AVCTL Divisions III and IV played several head-to-head matchups on Tuesday and Division III came out on top 2-1.

Winfield used 15 points from Landon Fox to take down Circle 49-44. Buhler got by Wellington 43-37 thanks to a strong first quarter. The Crusaders outscored Wellington 10-7 in the opening frame, but did not win a single quarter after that.

Andale picked up a win for Division IV 59-33 over Rose Hill. Clearwater took down Wichita Home School 59-42.

Bryan Hellman poured in 17 points and 10 different Medicine Lodge players scored in the Indians’ 63-55 win over Garden Plain. Paul Renyer had a game-high 18 points in the loss.

Conway Springs downed Bluestem 57-36. Independent rolled with similar ease over Chaparral 72-41. Cheney used 18 points from Gabe Schomacker to beat Belle Plaine 60-49.

Smoky Valley won a league game over Nickerson 60-48. Nick Deterding scored 23 points in the win. Teammate Quinn Dippel was not far behind with 15 points of his own. Austin Phillips led the Panthers with 16 points.

Hesston got by Haven 42-38, while Pratt stomped Kingman 73-27.

Lyons got matching 14 point efforts from Grady Kirkhart and Ryan McClure, but lost to Halstead 48-43. Blake Bohling led the Dragons with 14 points.

Jordan Hett had 17 points and teammate Jacob Harper contributed 15 points, but Marion still fell 48-47 to Ell-Saline. Ell-Saline stormed back in the fourth quarter after trailing all game long by beating Marion 14-6 in the final frame. The trio of Keegan Hays, Colten Johnson and Kaleb Whitehair each scored 11 points apiece.

Hutchinson Trinity had nine different players score in a 44-38 win over Sedgwick.

Jordan Hecker scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds, but it was not enough to get Russell by Salina Sacred Heart. Sacred Heart took the win 57-35 and had 12 different players score.

Nathan Peterson and Ben Stutterheim each scored 13 points to lead Southeast of Saline past Beloit 57-49. Austin Budke had a game-high 28 points in the loss.

Caleb Cherryholmes poured in 29 points and Caleb Tanner added 16 as Remington handled Peabody Burns 63-52. Berean Academy beat Chase County 43-39.

Alex Hobelmann scored 16 points and pulled down eight rebounds as his Smith Center Redmen nipped Osborne 44-42. Damon Schurr led Osborne with 16 points of his own in the loss.

Abilene was on fire tonight as the Cowboys dropped 82 points on Augusta in an 82-29 win. Andy Wilson had a game-high 26 points for Abilene.
