  13. Today's Buzz: Trayvon Martin: Will justice prevail?

Amid growing public outrage over last month's shooting in Sanford of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer, State Attorney Norm Wolfinger said his office will convene a grand jury on the case. Zimmerman has admitted to shooting Trayvon but said he did so in self defense. The Sanford Police Department did not arrest Zimmerman. Wolfinger said his office is collecting information on the case with the help of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. The U.S. Department of Justice has also announced that it will conduct a "thorough and independent review." Do the latest developments in the case show that authorities are vigorously pursuing justice? Or does the delay – Martin was shot on Feb. 26 – suggest that law enforcement isn't really serious? Should Zimmerman be protected by Florida's law allowing people to shoot when they feel threatened? Given the public pressure, is there a risk that Zimmerman could be wrongly prosecuted? Talk about it!
