Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds lean burger or ground turkey

1 medium onion

1 chopped jalapeno pepper

1-2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. sugar

1/2 cup chili sauce

1 can tomato soup and 1 can water

1 28 ounce can diced tomatoes

1 can black beans drained and rinsed

1 cup fresh or canned pureed pumpkin

 

Directions: In a skillet, brown meat, onion and chopped jalapeno. Drain and set aside. In a pot, combine the tomato soup with the water; stir in the diced tomatoes, beans and pureed pumpkin. Add the drained meat mixture, pumpkin pie spice, chili sauce, sugar and salt. Simmer over low heat until thickened.
