Emert powers Lady Rockets past Salisbury

ROCKWOOD — Sam Emert scored a game-high 19 points to power Rockwood's 43-19 victory over Salisbury in girls varsity basketball Monday.

 

Becky Zur contributed 12 points and five blocked shots for the Lady Rockets who jumped out to a 26-10 halftime lead.

Emily Lowery and Kayla McKenzie netted six points each for the Lady Elks.

 

There was no JV game.

 

Rockwood (4-7) will host Shade at 6 p.m. Shade on Wednesday.
