  11. 1 PM UPDATE: TORNADO WATCH ISSUED

The Storm Prediction Center issued a Tornado Watch for all of Central Indiana until 9 PM tonight.  Storms are just now starting to pop up in Illinois and those will move quickly into our area this afternoon.  At the current time, CAPE values have increase enough to keep storms going as they get into Indiana.  It looks like supercells could easily develop in the current environment.  Those supercells will possibly support tornado development, especially with the shearing that is happening in the atmosphere (turning of the wind in the vertical).  Stay tuned to Fox 59 during the day for the latest information regarding storms and locations in the path of these storms.
