  3. Sales increase at Tanglewood Mall in Roanoke

    'Tis the season, to go shopping and more excited holiday shoppers than normal are doing just that at the Tanglewood Mall. Mall managers there say a new advertising campaign is paying off. They're highlighting the mall's "hassle-free" attributes like parking, a convenient location and popular stores. Sales are higher this year compared to the same time period last year.  Customers we spoke with say they prefer Tanglewood Mall over other ones in the area.  "The different stores, the food and it's just quiet . I just like how it's not as much traffic, ya know, it's not as busy,” said Ashlee Whisnant.

  5. Roanoke business owner says he will bounce back after fire

    Continuing coverage now of a Saturday fire that destroyed a local Roanoke business. The owner of General Truck Body, Tony Williams,  was on the scene today meeting meeting with insurance representatives.   Williams says he hopes to move into a new facility very quickly. He's in the process of establishing a command center to coordinate efforts.
