  7. Two Virginia Schools rank best in value for public universities

    Two Virginia schools rank when it comes to the top ten best values at public colleges and universities, according to Kiplinger's Magazine.  The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill comes in on top, followed by the University of Florida. The University of Virginia ranks third on the list and the College of William and Mary is fourth.  The New College of Florida is fifth.

  9. Tech's David Wilson Wins Dudley Award in Richmond

         Wednesday afternoon, Virginia Tech tailback David Wilson was named a first team All American by CBS Sportsline and next year if he returns to school, he could be right in the middle of the Heisman Trophy race.  Last night though, he grabbed the Dudley Award from the Richmond Touchdown Club that goes to the best player in the state of Virginia as voted on by media members around the Commonwealth.
